Brief:
Teenagers don’t engage with traditional eLearning. The founders of Makes brought me in to rethink their early POC into something radically more native to how teens consume content: fast, visual, gamified, and socially reinforced.
My Role:
As Head of UX and Gamification, I led the end-to-end product strategy—from experience mapping and user testing to designing a modular system that merges entertainment mechanics with educational goals. I prototyped and validated multiple learning journeys that blended video, quizzes, influencer-style storytelling, and rewards.
Outcome:
We transformed Makes into a dynamic, mission-aligned app that mirrors the digital behavior and content expectations of today’s youth—snappy, scrollable, streak-driven. The final MVP lifted engagement, boosted knowledge retention (via progressive content surfacing), and aligned well with national education standards. The product is now in pilot with the Israeli Ministry of Education.
